COX, Redbourn, Late 19th century

Robin P Cox, of Canada, says his grandfather is William Cox born 1873 died 1943, married Rose Catlin in Redbourn both buried at Redbourn. Was William also born in Redbourn?

However Cox is a comparatively common surname and so you must be very careful not to jump to conclusions - and you would be advised to get at least the William Cox/Rose Catlin marriage certificate to check William's father's name.
