This picture, of an unknown soldier, was taken by Percy Landon, of 125 St Albans Road, Watford and is dated 14 January 1916

The writing would appear to be by someone whose writing skills were minimal. The date is clear. Could the first line be "To Mother" ??? and if from her son is the last line his name?  Perhaps Jan Wells or Webb ???

Any other ideas, anyone?
