An election was held for Hertfordshire on the 20th and 21st of December, 1832, with three candidates, Sebright, Calvert, Grimston and Alston, each voter having up to three votes. The results were printed in a poll book. The following list for the parish of "Saundridge" shows who was entitled to vote and how they voted. It also shows where they lived, and at least the farmers can be identified as such. Several entries were struck through and the copy of the poll book had clearly been used in connection with a subsequent election.
