The 6th City of London Rifles moved to War Stations in the Watford area in August 1914 and went to France with the 2nd London Division in March 1915. Charlie obviously survived the war, and Bertha waited for him, as Charles E Robinson married Bertha Ainge (reference Dec 1921 Leicester 7a 817) |
