There appear to have been three John Bishop, photographer, associated with the villages associated with Royston, which were in Cambridgeshire but are now in Hertfordshire.

I have not investigated the John Bishop who took the above carte de visite at a time when the villages were in Cambridgeshire.

John and Caroline had been married 21 years and had 8 children, 6 still living.
