"Girls I didn't Marry"

This series was identified as being somewhat similar in style to "F S"  - with the series title in bold red letters and the subtitles reminiscent of the "F S" series "The Summer Girl". In addition the cards were printed with the Lined Address back.

The first cards located were all unsigned but the fifth card in the series carried the signature "E W." A search suggests that "E W" was not a prolific postcard artist and "Our Guvnor"   In addition there were a number of series signed "A E & E W" and these artists are identified as Archibald English and Ernest Edward Wise.

On reassessing the situation I feel that the "Girls I didn't marry" series were almost certainly by Archibald English or Ernest Edward Wise for a number of detailed stylish reasons.
