And Every Description of Building Material at Lowest Prices[St Albans Almanack and General Advertiser, 1890]
Miskin's was a major builder and contractor who also supplied building materials to the trade.
He appears to have taken over Bennett's brick field not later than 1867.
- 1872: 14 year Charles Butcher found guilty of theft in a case which throws light on employment arrangements.
- 1889-1893: Bernards Heath site explicitly mentioned in ads.
- 1894?: Did Jacob Reynolds become involved?
- 1897: Original Brick Field closed by time of OS survey.
- 1900s: At least up to the start of the First World War Miskins were still involved in the area - although they do not appear to have been making bricks.
