St Peter's Brickworks
~1882-1899
Sandridge New Town (Sandridge Road, Culver Road, Heath Road, Walton Street, Boundary Road.) started in 1882.
St Peter's Brickworks was established on part of the site.
Having the works so close to housing was dangerous and in 1890 five year old Leonard Margrave drowned in one of the pits.
