The Inspection by Lord Roberts

On 6th October the Division had the honour of a visit by Earl Roberts of Kandahar, former Commander in Chief of the British Army. He inspected a number of troops at Pound Farm, Sandridge. In January the Division marched past General Sir Ian Hamilton (who later led the attack on Gallipoli), and other top brass.
