This society was formed by people who believe that there is a very good case that the open space behind the fire station (formerly a brickworks and later the Ariston works) is a town or village green for the locality of Bernards Heath. They are currently collecting evidence with the aim of registering the area as a village green, with a view to protecting it for public use.
