The Old Banner
This is a history of the Freemasons of Berkhamsted Lodge, published for members in its centenary year. It is a very readable account, with a fair number of names in the text and tables. It includes additional biographical information on the Rev. Stephen Lea Wilson - curate of Berkhamsted 1843-5; his brother Richard Lea Wilson (Secretary and Treasurer, 1846-56); members of the Lane family (including a family tree of members of the Lodge) and James Parsons (Worshipful Master 1903, Secretary 1904-1931).
The list gives the names of the Worshipful Masters between 1845 and 1900:

In 1895 the Rev. W. Quennell, Vicar of Tring, was installed as Master for the Jubilee Year by the Rev. C. J. Langley, 2nd master of the School. He joined in 1888 from No. 214, was Prov. G. Chaplain of Herts in 1889 and before that of Essex, Grand Chaplain in 1903, and on his resignation in 1906 was elected as Hon. Member and died in 1908. Among his officers were Bros. R. H. Pope, Chaplain, F. G. Lane, Treasurer, E. J. Pearson, J. D. W. Wilson, P.M., Senior Steward. The Provincial Grand Master was present, Past Masters included Bros. Timson, Foster, Hobson, Vaisey and Prudames, the members Bros. Parsons, McBride, Whatmoor, while among the visitors were W. Bros. E P Debenham, Oliver Cockrem and Charles E Keyser. Danon Stephen Lea Wilson was unable to attend.
