This book only just reaches the southern boundary of Hertfordshire but there are extensive descriptions of Chipping Barnet, East Barnet, Elstree, Theobalds and Totteridge in Volume 1. As such it will only be of interest to a few people researching Hertfordshire ancestors - but is of course also very relevant to anyone researching ancestors on the south side of the old county boundary in what was Middlesex.
Volume 4 includes the above and Waltham Cross.
