The Hertfordshire Review
A Mercury Publication, 1950
This Quarto paper back was produced in conjunction with the Hertfordshire Mercury and County Press, and is a review of what was happening in the county shortly after the end of the Second World War.
The articles are well written and well illustrated, but there is a strong link with the advertising it contains and many of the industry articles concentrate on the companies who have advertised in it. This can be useful if you are interested in that particular company, and frustrating if not. For this reason I have augmented the contents list with the name of the company where the article is strongly slanted towards a particular company.
