Ernest Edward MUNNINGS

of Hertford

There is, as yet, no evidence that Edward Munnings (1839-1895) or his son Ernest Edward Munnings (1874-1948) ever took photographs themselves - or that Edward ever sold photographic views under his name in his stationers shops. However as Ernest was a stationer and also the post office one could reasonably expect him to sell a good range of local view post cards. As cards showing the same views from the same negatives were also published by R. W. Harradence it is likely that both shops were supplied with view cards from the same photographer.
