Bushey is a collection of over 200 old photographs of Bushey, covering the period from the 1860's to the 1960's: the time of the most radical changes in the town's long history.

The book reflects Bushey's origins as an agricultural village, and charts its expansion with the coming of the railway and the growth of industry in and around Bushey Hall Road. It provides extensive coverage of the town's streets, shops, churches and schools, and illustrates the lives of such local celebrities as the painters Sir Hubert von Herkomer, R.A., and Lucy Kemp-Welch.
