"Dear Hubby" (1908) Probably by "F S" |
This is a set of presumably six post cards, copyright 1908 by A Q Southwick, N.Y carrying the set reference number "N19." They are unsigned and there is a companion set, "Dear Wifey", reference N20. It seems likely that the artist is "F S" (Fred Spurgin) and for a discussion about identity of the artist see the Southwick and Pictures overflowing the frame pages. |

Dear Hubby:- I am having such a dry time of it here without you. I miss you more every minute. There are divers reasons why I should remain here a while longer. Be patient with me and I shall endure for your sake. your Wifey No Signature |

Dear Hubby: How time does drag along without you. It is hardly necessary to tell you that I am having a slow time here. I long for excitement of some kind just for variety's sake. Keep up your courage, for I have decided to remain here till I fell myself again. Your own wifey. No Signature |

Dear Hubby. It's dreadfully lonesome here without you - but I believe this quiet restful place will do me good. I yearn fto be back again to your cheerful company. Don't work too hard - and don't worry about me - I am bearing up well. Yours - Wifey No Signature |

Dear Hubby. I suppose you'll be hopping mad to know that I
am going to remain here a week longer! But I must do it even if
I have to sacrifice my own comfort. I am improving my health so
much. Take good care of yours, and don't mind me. - your own -
