Groups of "F S" cards

"F. S. Comic Series" Back

All sets recorded in PCM (March 2009)
 

The "F. S. Comic Series" cards were signed "F S". and share the same back but there are three variants which differ by what appears along the left edge:

  1. No Publisher or series

  2. F S Comic Series

  3. London View Co Ltd  F S Comic Series

Earliest Posting: 3 August 1907

It seems that they were printed in mid 1907, and while more postal dates are needed it is possible that some were issued in 1907 and the issue of others may have been delayed - possibly having been sold as bankruptcy stock in 1908/9.
